Hyundai Grants $1,000 Memorial Day Incentives for US Servicemen

In a little over a week, servicemen will be honored once again on Memorial Day. But beyond recognizing the gallantry of servicemen who passed on, Americans over the years have also used the occasion to put the spotlight on those in the military still living, whether they are still on active duty or retired already.

Hyundai Motor America has launched a program that supports military personnel and their goals of acquiring a decent vehicle to drive around town. From May 19, 2017 to May 31, 2017, the automotive brand has decided to offer $1,000 off on the Tuscon, Santa Fe Sport, and Santa Fe under the 2016 and 2017 model years.   These are the current models under the brand’s SUV lineup.

Beyond that, there is also a $500 off on all other eligible 2016 and 2017 Hyundai models. This spans January 4, 2017 all the way to January 2, 2018, which means those qualified will have a greater chance to avail of the special grant.

Among the people who can avail of this incentive are servicemen (or their spouses) belonging to the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, National Guard, or Reserves. The incentive is valid whether the person is still serving or retired already.

This program also goes along with the National Salute to America’s Heroes event presented by Hyundai, which takes place May 27 to 28 in Miami Beach, Florida. The 2-day fest will showcase state-of-the art military tech, exhibitions, music, and a lot more.
