A perfect Spring day arrived for the 20th Annual JC Whitney Car Show presented by Powerstop Brakes which was held at the JC Whitney headquarters in LaSalle, IL on Sunday May 7th . Enthusiasts from all over Illinois brought their favorites cars to the largest audience judged show in the Midwest.
A steady stream of vehicles paraded to the show and exhibitors were segmented into 31 classes and as you will see from the Winners List the show hosted a wide variety of cars from the Brass Era to the latest muscle cars and there was something for everyone including race cars and motorcycles too.
The Powerstop crew brought their Trail to SEMA Jeeps and debuted their latest project a Baja Bug. Look for progress updates at blog.jcwhitney.com
Everyone in attendance had a great day and as the votes were tabulated and the winners were announced you could hear shouts of congratulations and applause for the top three competitors in each class and many trophies were awarded.
Finally we invited Best of Show Winner Skip Novak and his beautiful F-100 to join us in front of the original Warshawsky sign to celebrate his win. Our new friend Bob Hoffman and his spectacular Buick Grand National closed the show with a spectacular celebratory burnout , you can see the video here:
Thanks again for all of those who brought their cars, friends and family to spend the day with us. Make sure and mark your calendar for the next JC Whitney Car Show Sunday May 6, 2018.
