Wrench and Ride Event Report: 51st Annual Easter Jeep Safari – Moab, UT

51st Annual Easter Jeep Safari- Moab, UT
by JC Whitney Staff

Moab, UT can be a mercurial event location, it can enchant with spectacular vistas and natural beauty for hikers, kayakers, campers and of course, off-road enthusiasts who want to get away from it all. Moab can also challenge visitors with bitter cold, harsh winds and its infamous red dust finding its way into every crevice.
We received equal doses of Moab during the Easter Jeep Safari stop on the JC Whitney Wrench and Ride tour. Arriving Wednesday afternoon, the long drive from Southern California was rewarded with those famous views we have come to expect from Moab and we couldn’t help but pile back in the Jeep for an easy ride on our favorite fire roads that led to even more breath taking scenery. Then we made our way to the Spanish Trail Arena to set up our tent for the popular vendor show help Thursday and Friday.

Thursday presented us the other side of Moab with near haboob-level dust storms and general destruction and discomfort for all in attendance. To all of those who stopped by the JC Whitney tent on Thursday we appreciate your tenacity! Friday was much kinder to all the Jeepers who persevered, the weather was much better and lots of folks dropped by to take advantage of the deals on offer from our Wrench and Ride Sponsors including Rancho Suspension, Crown Automotive, Coverking, Powerstop Brakes, Aries Automotive and Curt Manufacturing.

We know we will be back for the 52nd Annual Easter Jeep Safari and look forward to seeing all of the Jeepers who flock to Moab from around the World and the JC Whitney stories they share with us.
